Still around

Hi there… Been quiet for a few days, will be back to normal posting in the next day or two.

I’m not quite sure what to make of this, but thanks to that scream, this ended up being the most popular week in my blog’s history, with more visits this week than in all of December.

And for all of you who got here from Google looking for more on Howard Dean’s Iowa scream, be sure to check out this page for a complete run-down on all of the remixes out there of Dean’s speech.

Be back soon.

  1. We are getting down to the wire here in the NH tundra. The candidates are everywhere! Yesterday just about all of them showed up here in the Derry/Londonderry area, most of them flipping pancakes or in the case of Clark, serving at the drive thru at Dunkin Donuts. We got a pretty big chuckle watching Kerry and realizing that he's probably never had to cook a meal for himself.

As for the Governor, he seems to have redeemed himself with his appearances on Thursday night TV. In Londonderry, one woman thanked him for introducing America to his wife "a woman of real substance". The crowd, largely professional people, went wild. My wife wished he would have remnd people that she is the one with the really important job in their family - she is actually out there saving lives! His poll numbers creeped up today, according to WMUR, but Kerry's were stronger than ever.

We look forward to new posts from you.

  2. Maureen Dowd of The New York Times has committed another media atrocity against Howard Dean, which appears in Sunday's New York Times.

To read her most recent, and possibly most outrageous column, and to get links to send letters to the Times, please visit:

Or click my URL. The site also has a link to the full "crowd video" of the Iowa speech, which shows Dean's speech in its true context, distorted on the news networks.

It's time to take back the media -- along with our country.

  3. Well some are trying. Check Pressthink, Adopt a journalist sites.
