"It is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself."
I just watched Martin Sheen’s intro for Howard Dean (courtesy of DeanTV). One for the ages.
What I found amusing about the Martin Sheen dramatic reading (I was there live at Union Station) was that he took a piece of paper out of his pocket, read the first couple of words off the page, and then proceeded to recite the remainder from memory for about two minutes. I'll bet he needs, like, one cue card per episode of The West Wing. Hey, whatever it takes... he was brilliant, and the whole night was one I won't soon forget.
Yeah, I caught that too. Can't fault the guy for being dramatic, right? :)
